Salmon Arm Brand Photographer for Granny Danny Embroidery

As a brand photographer, nothing brings me more joy then getting to capture business owners right at the beginning of their buisness. What is even more special is when these people are my friends! Danielle is super talented. Her creative abilities range, but embroidery is an area where she thrives. It has been so fun to work together in building up her brand together! It makes me so excited to have local people right here in Salmon Arm excited about creative business.

Photo Session

Danielle needed photos for a few different areas in her business. We wanted to create content that was versitille and able to be used across different platforms. Two of those platforms are Instagram & Etsy. For Instagram, the focus was more 0f a lifestyle approach. The photos for her etsy shop focused more on the product, and we used tools such as books so show the size of the different hoops.

Downtown Salmon Arm

We also went downtown Salmon Arm to capture some photos of Danielle. We grabbed Starbucks tea lattes on the way and she used hers as a prop, which worked well because she is obsessed with Chai. A stack of personal development books was also used, which was a great prop to showcase some of Danielle’s fave authors. As we were taking those images, we chatted about how easy it would be to use the images on Instagram with a caption talking about how the books had made an impact on her life.
