Cassidy Watt Branding Session

Reaching out to other people is always a risk. Maybe they won’t reply. Maybe they will think you are weird for trying to make friends online. But maybe, they will be equally as excited and want to go out for coffee with you. I first met Cassidy on Instagram, and a few months later we scheduled a date to meet in person. Thanks to Instagram, we already felt like we knew each other, making it easy to chat about life and business. We shared our stories with one another about how we got started, what we love about business and our goals for the future.

One thing we both shared a love for is branding photos & a good Instagram feed. When Cassidy decided to get monthly branding photos done with me, I was so excited.

The first thing we did was chat about what she was looking for. One of her main goals was to capture her new studio space. We also wanted to make sure she got a variety of images so that she would have lots of different images to post. This way she can focus on different elements of her studio. Before we even started the session we made a shot list and moodboard to keep us on track during the session!

These images are from her first session, and we seriously had so much fun taking them. We both sat on her studio floor with makeup and props everywhere as we decided what would be the next best combination for a flatlay. We also spent time taking photos of her in her studio. I am obsessed with the bright white walls and the aesthetically pleasing decor she has chosen for the space.
